The Jeffcoat Firm seeks a Disbursement Coordinator to move settled cases through the disbursement process and remove roadblocks, while feeding back issues to the Disbursement Specialist.
Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm in Columbia, SC. The role requires at least a high school diploma, strong writing and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; prior law firm disbursement or litigation experience is preferred.
The Disbursement Coordinator is responsible for working in conjunction with the team to work settled cases through the disbursement process, removing roadblocks to disbursement, and providing feedback to the Disbursement Specialist.

Primarily sedentary, able to sit for long periods of time.
Ability to speak, see and hear other personnel. Ability to communicate both in verbal and written form. Capable of using a telephone and computer keyboard. Able to lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to travel within the facility and to other locations as required.
