Job summary

BMS CAT in Concord, NC is seeking individuals for smoke, fire, and water restoration cleanup. You will perform detailed cleaning, sanitation, and site preparation on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, following safety and company protocols.

We train the right candidates and offer weekly pay, life insurance, paid time off, and a path for career growth. Expect physical work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Comfort with PPE and safety rules.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Forklift experience and certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning, wiping, HEPA vacuuming, and debris removal in remediation zones.
• Assist with setting up containment barriers, negative air machines, HEPA scrubbers, and dehumidifiers.
• Conduct pre-clean and post-clean sanitation in accordance with IICRC and company standards.
• Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials following environmental and regulatory guidelines.
• Load-in/load-out of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, vehicles, and equipment to ensure a professional and safe environment.
• Follow all PPE requirements, safety protocols, and job-specific instructions by supervisors.
• Document daily work activities, including before/after photos and inventory.
• Assist with odor removal, surface decontamination, and antimicrobial application as needed.
• Uphold professionalism when interacting with customers and onsite personnel.
