Job summary

Our Client in Michigan seeks a Project Manager with restoration or construction backgrounds to lead large water, fire, and mold mitigation projects. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams and manage budgets, timelines, and safety while supporting emergency response nationwide.

This role offers opportunities to advance into estimator roles and grow with the organization, with potential for leadership of large crews and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Willingness to support other Project Managers and national emergency response (CAT duty).
• Continuously enhance knowledge of building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a mentor for Superintendents and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of all service lines offered by the client.
• Scope, schedule, and manage projects; enforce safety and quality standards.
• Build core project management skills: time management, budgeting, scheduling, supervision, and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, codes, and best practices.
• Review project progress daily and communicate updates and issues.
• Provide clear field documentation (photos, sketches, reports).
• Lead restoration or construction efforts and manage large crews.
• Qualify vendors/subcontractors and guide onboarding.
• Manage fixed bid and time/material projects.
• Understand invoicing and provide documentation.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks and maintain service standards.
• Work flexible hours, including nights and travel.
