Volarify is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for Water/Fire/Mold Mitigation in Fenton, MI. You will lead large, complex restoration and construction projects, coordinate crews, and collaborate with estimators on budgets and schedules.

The role includes emergency response opportunities across the country and a path toward estimating roles. Candidates should demonstrate strong blueprint reading, safety leadership, and the ability to manage projects over $1M while maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

  • Willingness to support other Project Managers and volunteer for national emergency response (CAT duty)
  • Continuously enhance technical and regulatory knowledge (e.g., local/state/federal building codes)
  • Act as a mentor and role model for Superintendents
  • Identify and upsell additional services as needed
  • Collaborate closely with Estimators on timelines, budgets, and changes
  • Show ongoing growth in managing projects on-time and on-budget
  • Construction Track: oversee all phases, read blueprints, manage large-scale jobs >$1M
  • Restoration Track: lead large crews via leaders/assistants and guide restoration plans
  • Confidently supervise multiple projects simultaneously
  • Participate in continued training and development

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of all service lines offered by Our Client
  • Scope, schedule, and manage work; enforce safety and quality standards (construction track)
  • Build and refine core project management skills: time management, budgeting, scheduling, supervision, customer communication, safety and documentation
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, building codes, and best practices
  • Review and document project progress daily and communicate updates and issues
  • Provide clear field documentation (photo logs, sketches, reports)
  • Utilize prior expertise in fire, water, or structural repair roles
  • Qualify vendors/subcontractors and guide onboarding
  • Manage fixed bid and time/material-based projects
  • Understand invoicing protocols and provide supporting documentation
  • Conduct vehicle safety checks and maintain service standards
  • Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and travel as needed
  • Attend company-sponsored safety and operations training sessions

Project Manager – Water/Fire/Mold Mitigation

About the Opportunity

Our Client is seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in either restoration or construction. In this role, you’ll take the lead on large-scale, complex, and high-profile mitigation projects involving water, fire, and mold damage. You’ll also have the opportunity to assist with emergency response across the country—making a real impact in communities recovering from disaster.

Project Managers may be eligible for advancement into Estimator roles and are viewed as key players in delivering exceptional results while growing with the organization.

Key Responsibilities
