ServiceMaster Restoration Services in Farmington Hills, MI seeks a hands-on Project Manager to lead restoration projects after disasters. You will inspect new jobs, plan actions, monitor progress, and adjust as needed to meet standards.

The role combines field leadership with office coordination. The ideal candidate has 1 year in management or disaster restoration, strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a management role or in the disaster restoration industry.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Analytical thinking and high emotional intelligence.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with industry standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project scope, quality, and risk standards.
• Coordinate internal and external resources for project execution.
• Provide on-site supervision by guiding technicians on losses.
• Document losses, including sketch and scope for estimates.
• Develop partnerships with adjusters and customers.
• Assign and monitor resources to maximize efficiency.
• Report outcomes and risks to management per plan.
• Participate in the on-call schedule as assigned.
• Create completed estimates using Xactimate or similar tools.
• Adapt to rotating on-call duties and other duties as assigned.
