Job summary

Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is recruiting a Reconstruction Manager for a full-service disaster restoration company in Grand Rapids, MI.

The Reconstruction Manager will oversee multiple jobs through the reconstruction phase, maintain constant contact with customers, estimators, contractors, and staff, and ensure work meets contract scope and quality. This role requires strong leadership and detailed budgeting experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and cost control abilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects in reconstruction or restoration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, including budget, schedule, and quality control.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, architects, engineers, and contractors to define requirements and goals.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality, and safety.
• Identify and manage risks related to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Monitor budgets, forecast costs, and adjust as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Provide weekly progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage close-out activities, including inspections and warranty work.
