Job summary

Wylander, a leading recruiter for the disaster restoration sector, seeks a Reconstruction Manager in Jackson, MI to oversee multiple restoration projects from start to finish. You will manage budgets, schedules, and quality while maintaining strong client communication and coordinating with estimators, engineers, and contractors.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in construction-related fields, residential restoration experience, and strong skills in communication, organization, and cost

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of construction-related experience.
• Experience in residential restoration and insurance claim procedures.
• Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and cost management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Xactimate, MS Office, and cloud-based tools.
• Ability to lead teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and quality controls.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to define scope and goals.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress, safety, and quality.
• Track costs, manage change orders, and forecast expenses.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and standards.
• Provide weekly updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Close-out duties including final inspections and warranties.
