Job summary

Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a Field Estimator to inspect properties after fires, floods, and storms, develop detailed scopes, and create estimates using Xactimate. You will communicate with insurance professionals and secure projects for our restoration teams.

This role fits someone who builds relationships, solves problems, and guides customers through the restoration process. The ideal candidate has Xactimate experience, restoration/insurance estimating knowledge, and excels in client

Qualifications

• Xactimate Level 1 or Level 2 certification preferred.
• Experience in restoration, reconstruction, insurance adjusting, or construction estimating required.
• Understanding of residential and commercial construction processes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Previous customer service or project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed estimates utilizing Xactimate software.
• Inspect residential and commercial properties impacted by losses.
• Scope projects accurately and profitably.
• Secure reconstruction and restoration projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with property owners and insurance professionals.
• Communicate expectations clearly with adjusters, project managers, and customers.
• Manage estimate revisions and insurance supplements.
• Document and communicate change orders as required.
• Ensure projects meet profit margin and service expectations.
• Meet carrier compliance standards and estimate upload requirements.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate project start activities.
