Job summary

SERVPRO of Stamford in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Disaster Restoration Estimator. You will create accurate estimates, scope of work, and documentation for mitigation projects, collaborating with project managers, field teams, and insurers.

The role requires 5+ years in estimating, strong Xactimate/Symbility skills, and proficient use of Docusketch. In-office position with occasional field take-offs; drivers license and IICRC preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience in construction estimating, preferably mitigation/restoration.
• 5+ years prior construction project estimating experience.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• 3+ years experience with Xactimate or Symbility (CoreLogic) Cotality.
• Proficient with Docusketch for documentation and estimates.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• IICRC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mitigation/restoration projects.
• Create accurate scope of work and sketches using Docusketch.
• Review site documentation to support billing and client requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and insurers.
• Develop change orders and contract documents.
• Travel to job sites for take-offs as needed.
