Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles is seeking a Rebuild Navigator Coordinator to be the first point of contact for people seeking help. You will screen applicants, gather necessary information, and answer questions with attention to detail, organization, and compassion.

This role supports disaster response by assessing service needs (mortgage assistance, home repair, homeownership, disaster relief), coordinating referrals, collecting eligibility documents, and linking clients to

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug test, background check, authorization, and a driving record check.
• Must have access to reliable transportation, a CA Driver’s License, and valid auto insurance.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with individuals in need.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality service to diverse populations.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks, tracking applicant data, and following up.

Responsibilities

• Screen applicants, determine service needs, and refer to appropriate agencies and programs.
• Support disaster response intake, gather and track urgent requests, and coordinate with internal teams.
• Collect eligibility documentation and provide timely feedback via email or phone.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and help build positive team relationships.
