Job summary

The People Concern is seeking a Case Manager, System Navigator for The Nest in Los Angeles, CA. This hybrid role supports renters at risk of eviction through intake, assessment, and linkage to rental assistance, legal resources, and supportive services.

You will coordinate with housing, legal, and community partners, maintain thorough case notes, and advocate with landlords to stabilize tenancies. Bachelor’s preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent.
• Minimum of one year case management or customer service experience.
• Willingness to travel for field work.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive intakes and assessments to determine client needs and risk.
• Collaborates with Central Fiscal Agent and Legal Assistance programs to submit financial assistance requests and legal referrals.
• Develops individualized housing stabilization goal plan with participants.
• Advocates with landlords to maintain housing.
• Maintains accurate client records and documentation in HMIS.
