Job summary

Endeavors seeks a Clinician to support mental health, safety, and wellbeing of residents in mass care shelters. The clinician provides trauma‑informed care, psychological first aid, and crisis counseling to evacuees, coordinating with shelter teams and medical staff.

Required MSW with clinical experience or related master's degree, plus 2+ years in crisis intervention and bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities. Travel to various locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's of Social Work with clinical experience or a Master's in counseling/psychology where direct clinical experience is required.
• 2+ years of clinical experience and/or crisis intervention training.
• Proficiency in Spanish/English (written and spoken). Preferred experience with vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological first aid (PFA), crisis counseling, and brief interventions to evacuees.
• Assess signs of emotional distress, trauma, or mental illness.
• Refer clients to medical, psychiatric, or community services as needed.
• Maintain accurate case notes and comply with HIPAA and disaster guidelines.
• Coordinate with shelter teams, disaster medical staff, and security.
