Job summary

The Salvation Army in Florida’s Division is seeking a Disaster Services Warehouse/Vehicle Technician in Lutz, FL. This full-time role supports emergency operations, performs maintenance on vehicles and equipment, and drives large vehicles to move materials in relief efforts.

Responsibilities include readiness deployment across the Florida Division, supervising volunteers at the EDS warehouse, and managing inventory levels.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Two years driving large vehicles and two years in a warehouse with shipping/receiving and inventory recording.

Responsibilities

• Deploy in support of Emergency Disaster Services in the Florida Division.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs of Salvation Army vehicles and equipment.
• Operate vehicles to deliver and pick up materials and supplies; unloads and receives deliveries.
• Maintain tools, supplies, parts, and inventory; monitor inventory levels.
• Supervise volunteers and community service workers at the EDS warehouse.
