Job summary

U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation is seeking a Manager, Disaster Resilience in Washington, DC.

You will translate strategy into execution across disaster preparedness, response, and community resilience programs, leading cross-sector partnerships and applying AI-enabled tools to improve research, planning, and delivery. You will develop execution plans, manage risk, and deliver timely briefings, briefings and convenings with internal teams and external partners, while advancing Foundation

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project and workstream management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, briefing skills.
• Ability to work independently with general direction and ambiguity.
• Comfort using AI tools for research, planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs and workstreams end-to-end, including scoping, execution and closeout, with AI-enabled tools.
• Translate objectives into actionable project plans, milestones and resources.
• Track milestones, KPIs and outcomes using AI-enabled dashboards and summaries.
• Identify risks early and provide practical recommendations to protect timelines and quality.
• Develop briefs, talking points and presentations for leadership and partners.
• Identify and implement responsible AI tools to improve knowledge management and reporting.
• Engage with private and public partners to expand resilience efforts.
• Support post-event reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
