Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking experienced Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery efforts across the United States. This on-call, as-needed role involves documenting damages to public infrastructure and coordinating with engineers, project managers, and recovery specialists.

Assignments may occur in the field, remotely, or in hybrid arrangements depending on client needs. You will perform site inspections, collect data, and prepare clear reports to support funding determinations and recovery

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in building inspection or related field.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, mobile data collection apps, and cloud systems.
• Ability to travel on short notice and hold a valid driver2s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-damaged facilities.
• Document damages to buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, parks, and more.
• Capture photos, measurements, and site conditions for recovery programs.
• Prepare clear site inspection reports and maintain records.
• Coordinate visits with facility representatives, government staff, and stakeholders.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other recovery programs.
• Work safely in varied environments and comply with safety requirements.
