Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking Site Inspectors to support disaster recovery programs across the United States. The role is on-call, with field, remote, or hybrid assignments depending on client needs.

You will document damages to public infrastructure, collect data, prepare inspection reports, and coordinate with engineers, facility representatives, and government stakeholders while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building inspection, construction, facility assessment, infrastructure assessment, or related fields.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and organizing field data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and mobile data collection apps.
• Ability to travel on short notice and work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disaster-impacted facilities.
• Document damages to public buildings, roads, bridges, utilities, and other sites.
• Capture photos, measurements, observations, and site conditions for recovery programs.
• Prepare clear, comprehensive site inspection reports and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate site visits with facility representatives, government staff, and stakeholders.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs as needed.
