Job summary

California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is seeking an Analyst I to perform varied analytical duties related to disaster assistance and mitigation grant programs within the Recovery Directorate. You will work with spreadsheets, data tracking, data entry, and generate comprehensive reports for leadership.

You will advise management on program options, meet strict deadlines, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to resolve issues and improve policy outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate willingness to assume duties of various complexity and adapt to changing priorities.
• Be proficient in the use of various computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications and be willing to learn new tools.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and present information clearly.
• Have experience in working with large amounts of data and providing data analysis.
• Follow directions, protocols, and procedures and work well in a multi-disciplined team.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.
