Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs.

You will develop accurate, defensible cost estimates for infrastructure restoration, emergency, and permanent work, evaluating damaged facilities and configurations. As part of the Disaster Recovery Cadre, you may work remotely, in the field, or in a hybrid setup depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in construction estimating or related discipline.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, materials, and costs.
• Experience with infrastructure or facility project cost estimates.
• Familiarity with modern construction practices and project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost estimating for disaster recovery projects including labor, equipment, materials, and general conditions.
• Prepare conceptual, parametric, and bottom-up estimates for infrastructure work.
• Review engineering docs, proposals, and cost data for accuracy and defensibility.
• Support FEMA PA and other disaster recovery programs with cost documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to define eligible work and project requirements.
• Maintain project records per client requirements.
