Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs. You will develop accurate, defensible cost estimates for infrastructure restoration, emergency work, and permanent work projects.

This on-call, as-needed role may be remote, field-based, or hybrid depending on client needs and project requirements. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in construction estimating or related discipline.
• Experience developing conceptual, parametric, and detailed cost estimates for infrastructure or facilities.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, materials, and construction costs.
• Familiarity with modern construction practices, project scope development, and construction inspection.

Responsibilities

• Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs through scoping, damage assessment, and cost estimating.
• Develop estimates for labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and general conditions.
• Prepare cost analyses for roads, bridges, utilities, buildings, and infrastructure.
• Review engineering reports, plans, and contractor proposals for cost reasonableness.
