Job summary

United Property Restoration Services is seeking Mitigation Technicians to join our growing team. These technicians travel to damaged properties to support water and mold cleanup, structural board-up, and on-site restoration.

You will be the first responder on loss scenes, helping to mitigate damage in both residential and commercial settings. We offer health insurance, retirement matching, paid time off, and opportunities for certification and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, reliable, and a team player.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Previous experience in mitigation is preferred, but not required.
• Available for emergency services (nights, weekends, & holidays) and rotating on-call.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Able to lift/move 50+ lbs.
• A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required.
• Must display the ability to learn cleaning solutions, mixtures, cleaning techniques, and water loss procedures.

Responsibilities

• Water damage mitigation and cleanup.
• Structural board-up and security.
• On-location cleaning and microbial remediation.
• Content pack-outs and content processing/deodorization.
• Content storage and handling.
• Assist the team to meet client needs.
