Job summary

Endeavors is seeking a Disaster Case Manager in Florida to support individuals and families affected by disasters. You will conduct outreach, complete assessments, and collaborate on recovery plans with clients, coordinating services and resources to address unmet needs.

The role requires empathetic communication, accurate documentation, and occasional travel to disaster sites. A Bachelor's in a related field is preferred, with bilingual English/Spanish helpful for client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services is preferred.
• High School diploma or GED with 3 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred for client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to disaster-affected clients to assess needs.
• Complete eligibility assessments and intake.
• Conduct home visits and provide ongoing support.
• Develop recovery plans addressing unmet needs with clients.
• Monitor progress and follow up on services and goals.
• Assist clients in identifying and securing available benefits and resources.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
• Prepare reports for supervisor and program management.
