Job summary

Easterseals Arkansas is seeking a Trainer to develop, implement, and maintain training for Direct Support Professionals and Direct Support Managers in Community Services. You will ensure staff deliver and document services per individualized treatment plans and regulations, using best practices and person-centered care.

Coordinate with program leadership, provide hands-on coaching, track progress, and maintain training records to ensure compliance with PASSE, Medicaid requirements, and ESA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field and minimum of two years related experience.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills for staff development.
• Experience with training design and delivery across varied staff levels.
• Knowledge of PASSE/state regulations and Medicaid requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training programs for DSPs, DSMs and staff.
• Provide hands-on, interactive training on ADLs, community integration, and documentation.
• Ensure compliant documentation of services and training records.
• Coach DSPs and supervisors to improve service delivery.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary training with nursing, behavior analysts, therapists.
• Monitor compliance with ESA policies and PASSE regulations.
• Conduct 90-day learning progress check-ins.
