Job summary

Easterseals Arkansas seeks a Trainer to develop, implement, and maintain training programs for DSPs, DSMs, and staff in Community Services. You will ensure compliant, person-centered care and provide ongoing professional development.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a human services field and at least two years of related experience, with supervisory experience preferred. A flexible schedule and collaboration with nursing, behavior analysts, and therapists are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services related field is required or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong training and instructional skills with ability to adapt materials for various learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training programs for new hires and current employees.
• Provide hands-on, interactive training across key responsibilities.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all training sessions and track staff progress.
• Conduct regular 90‑day check-ins with new hires and provide coaching.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with PASSE, state, Medicaid, and ESA policies.
• Collaborate with program leadership to identify training gaps and propose improvements.
