Easterseals Arkansas is seeking a dedicated classroom teacher to support individuals served across early childhood through transition to adulthood. You will plan and deliver targeted instruction in social, cognitive, motor and language domains, prepare materials, and maintain progress records.

Collaboration with families, staff, and therapists is essential to tailor programs and ensure compliance with IEPs and state standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with Arkansas teaching certification.
• One year teaching experience or master's in special education (ABA, ECE) required.
• Three or more years classroom teaching preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse individuals and families.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Teach social/emotional, cognitive, motor, language and self-help areas.
• Use behavior management techniques to support learners.
• Plan and implement weekly lessons per each individual's plan.
• Follow standard curricula and supplements in instruction.
• Evaluate functional levels using screenings and data collection.
• Prepare materials and aids to present objectives.
• Maintain attendance, progress notes, guardian contact, and health data.
• Arrange and supervise meaningful classroom activities with guests.
• Communicate with guardians and program staff regularly.
• Ensure classroom meets quality standards and licensure requirements.
