State of California is seeking a Field Office Manager for the Disability Insurance Program in Riverside, CA. This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid work from 1190 Palmyrita Ave, Riverside, CA 92507, with a schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The incumbent provides administrative leadership for a large field office, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, managing staff and budgeting, and partnering with program customers to sustain program integrity.
$7,873.00 - $9,861.00 per Month
New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Under general direction, provides administrative leadership for a large-sized field office. Ensures services are delivered in compliance with laws, policies, and procedures governing the Disability Insurance Program. Emphasizes program integrity and proper duration control. Oversees all personnel actions to ensure appropriate staffing levels, capacity building and open communication. Understands and effectively administers the field office budget. Uses analysis and data‑gathering tools in decision‑making processes. Maintains a marketing program that includes educating and partnering with program customers. Complies with all system security, internal control, and employee safety requirements. Acts as a coach and role model to members of the management team and to all staff. Supports the Branch and Department vision, mission, values, and goals.

The position(s) may require an applicant to pass a background investigation. However, applicants will not be asked to provide information about a conviction history unless they receive a conditional offer of employment. The department will consider potential mitigating factors, including, but not limited to, evidence and extent of rehabilitation, recency, nature and seriousness, and age at the time of the offense(s). The investigation will consist of completion of a personal history statement and fingerprinting checks with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Justice, and/or local law enforcement agencies.
