Global Connections to Employment, Inc. is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist to assist team members with disabilities in maintaining employment, building job-related skills, and pursuing advancement.

You will evaluate needs, determine accommodations, and deliver on-site retention services to promote performance and independence. Collaborating with supervisors and external partners, you will help reduce employment barriers and support placement or transition opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Related Degree Fields: Rehabilitation, Counseling, Social work, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
• Experience in vocational rehabilitation, job placement, job coaching, counseling, or related work supporting adults with disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent and four years’ employment experience.
• OR, Associate’s degree in a related degree field from an accredited college or university and two years' employment experience.
• OR, Bachelor's degree in a related degree field from an accredited college or university and one year employment experience.
• OR, Master’s degree in a related degree field from an accredited college or university and six months' experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist team members with disabilities in maintaining employment, building job‑related skills, and pursuing career advancement.
• Evaluate each team member's employment needs, determine appropriate support and accommodations, and deliver on-site retention services.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and stakeholders to reduce employment barriers and facilitate placement or transition services.
