Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services seeks Physician Assistants to conduct Compensation & Pension examinations for VA disability claims. You will review medical records, perform focused assessments, and render objective opinions based on findings.

Some charting from home may be required, with travel to clinics as needed and strict VA guidelines to follow. Required is an accredited PA program and an active PA license across states, with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• PA license in all U.S. states, DC and territories.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Physician Assistant.
• BLS certification with renewals.
• Experience in disability examinations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical disability examinations including history, exam and functional assessment.
• Review medical records and diagnostic results for VA claims.
• Render objective medical opinions based on findings.
• Use case management system to organize workload and submit findings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain information.
• Document findings clearly in VA-compliant reports.
