Qualifications

• One year of experience at DDS Examiner Support Specialist 1 level or
• three years total education/experience in an office/customer service role with administrative tasks, answering calls, and typing.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review disability claims from SSA and state offices for accuracy and completeness.
• Answer incoming calls, verify caller identity, assess needs and route to the right contact.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies between federal and state systems by researching errors.
• Operate high-speed scanning equipment and process SSA claims files; troubleshoot issues.
• Review scanned images and file electronic medical and technical records correctly.
• Manage a caseload of claims and assist Administrative Law Judge by gathering documentation.
• Sort, print, and prepare documents; match paperwork to folders; clear machine errors.
• Open, sort, and prioritize incoming mail; review outgoing mail for accuracy.
