The role involves interviewing clients, assessing eligibility, guiding applications for public and private benefits, and coordinating with community resources. The position is full-time and located in Wisconsin, with opportunities to support vulnerable adults and navigate complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• One year of full-time health or human service experience with the elderly or adults with disabilities.
• Knowledge of benefits and entitlement programs.
• Ability to interview and assess needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Conducts interviews and assesses problems for intervention.
• Provides information and assistance on benefit applications and related areas.
• Explains options and prepares records and documentation for cases.
• Advocates for clients during hearings and negotiations.
• Maintains knowledge of state and federal benefits laws.
