Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in operational/administrative management.
• Advanced degree in a scientific, engineering, technical or business-related field.
• Ability to function on a senior executive management team and gain consensus.
• Demonstrated success in leading people and scaling organizations.
• Experience communicating technical and operational concepts to varied audiences.
• Knowledge of safety, security, facilities, HR, business systems and contractor assurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and oversight of directorate operations to support goals and priorities.
• Act on behalf of the ALD and NTNS for operational matters.
• Advise on operational performance.
• Develop and implement the directorate infrastructure strategic roadmap.
• Identify investments to enable strategy and mission delivery.
• Lead operational initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to strategic planning for major research initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain efficient operations and manage risk.
