Job summary

Merck is seeking a Director of Zero Trust Infrastructure Security to lead a US-based team of Zero Trust engineers. You will own strategy, architecture, deployment, and ongoing operation of our Zscaler-based SASE platform across users, apps, and workloads.

The role requires 10+ years in IT, with 5+ in Zero Trust and Zscaler initiatives, strong AI security and cloud/network security expertise, and a proven track record leading security transformations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required; relevant certifications desirable.
• Advanced hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating Zscaler solutions in large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and operation of the enterprise Zero Trust program.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, cloud, security, and business teams to embed Zero Trust across the organization.
