Job summary

HireLifeScience seeks a Director of Zero Trust Infrastructure Security to lead a U.S.-based team of engineers. The role shapes strategy, architecture, deployment, and ongoing operations of a comprehensive enterprise Zero Trust program, with a strong focus on Zscaler and SASE.

The candidate will mentor engineers, drive AI-driven threat detection, automation, and security analytics, and partner across infrastructure, cloud, and security to advance a secure, scalable enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Advanced hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating Zscaler in large enterprises.
• Minimum 10+ years in IT with 5+ years leading Zero Trust and Zscaler initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust principles, AI security, and cloud/network security architectures.
• Experience with firewalls, IDPS, network segmentation, and secure remote access.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and operation of a Zscaler-based SASE platform for enterprise access.
• Strategize, architecture, and govern a company-wide Zero Trust program.
• Mentor engineers and drive AI-driven security analytics and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with infra, cloud, and security teams to embed Zero Trust across systems.
