Job summary

Employ Prince George’s is seeking a Director, Youth Services to lead and oversee Youth Services programs, state and local workforce initiatives, and ensure timely grant compliance. The role encompasses program operations, budgeting, and coordination with partner organizations to expand services for youth in the community.

The position reports to the Chief Program & Impact Officer, supervising YCC Managers and KEYS Coordinator, with oversight of the full YCC and KEYS teams. Exempt from overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; combination of relevant experience considered in lieu of education
• 7 years of related experience in managing workforce programming and/or grant programs, including 3 years in a supervisory role
• Demonstrated excellence in leadership, interpersonal communication, and strategic planning
• Proven experience managing large programmatic budgets is a plus
• Highly organized and proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and AI tools

Responsibilities

• Manages and supervises the Youth Services Department staff
• Provides guidance and training for staff development and improved performance
• Evaluates staff performance and guides corrective actions
• Facilitates strategic team meetings on a weekly basis
• Develops strategies to promote positive public relations with community-based organizations and partners
• Ensures staff attend job fairs, trade shows, and community events
• Manages programmatic performance and fiscal integrity of grant programs
• On-time submission of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
