Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County seeks a Program Director to oversee the delivery of Youth and Teen programs across Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, and Physical Education. This exempt, full-time role reports to the Club Director and requires strong leadership, program development, and staff mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities include planning, supervising staff, attendance and field trip coordination, and ensuring program quality and grant compliance.

Qualifications

Requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience.
Five or more years of supervisory/management experience, or equivalent youth program planning experience.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Skill and energy to build and lead a team with staff development and training.
Experience evaluating programs with program staff and ensuring deliverables.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, oversee implementation and supervision of programs.
Maintain attendance tracking, field trips, reimbursements, and reporting.
Support staff, provide training, coaching, and feedback to up to 24 part-time reports.
Collaborate in hiring decisions and ensure grant requirements are met.
Oversee purchasing, inventory, and professional development.
