Job summary

BGCAZ in Arizona seeks a Food Services Program Director to oversee the daily operations and compliance of its federally funded Child Nutrition Program across 15+ club sites, ensuring high-quality youth meals and strict adherence to USDA and state guidelines.

This role leads vendor coordination, staff training, data reporting for grants, and drives process improvements for program growth, with occasional travel to sites and participation in monitoring visits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in grant management, program compliance, or related fields.
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Manager certifications within 90 days.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and compliance of the federally funded Child Nutrition Program at 15+ sponsored Club sites.
• Lead monthly reimbursement claims; maintain audit-ready records and ensure compliance with USDA and state regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors on meal orders, delivery issues, and waste reduction to improve revenue.
• Conduct regular visits to Club sites to monitor food safety and support program implementation.
• Provide training and resources to staff for consistent program delivery and compliance.
• Track meal service data for reporting, grant documentation, and internal evaluation.
• Foster collaborative relationships with community partners.
• Support procurement and distribution of food program-related supplies and donated items.
• Identify and implement improvements to streamline processes and increase program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with leadership to support program expansion and onboarding of new sites or systems.
