Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Director, Workforce Governance and Strategy to advance enterprise governance and planning capabilities aligning with Fidelity’s long-term business strategy.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive forecasting, scenario planning, reporting, and governance, using data and cross-functional collaboration to shape strategic workforce decisions. The role sits within the Enterprise HR function, supporting a phased onsite rollout and collaborating across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, or related area.
• 10+ years in workforce strategy, governance, operations, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including forecasting and scenario planning.
• Deep understanding of workforce strategy and translating data into business recommendations.
• Proven experience developing and executing strategic initiatives at enterprise scale in large, matrixed organizations.
• Strong executive presence with communication and presentation skills.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders (TA, HR, Legal, Finance, Analytics).
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen to identify risks and develop scalable solutions.
• Intellectual curiosity and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Advance enterprise workforce governance and planning capabilities.
• Partner with senior leaders to drive workforce forecasting, reporting, and governance.
• Leverage data and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic workforce decisions.
• Ensure alignment between business priorities and workforce investments.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, and Analytics teams.
