Condé Nast is seeking an engineering leader to own the delivery of best-in-class customer experiences across brands. You will guide architecture, technologies and people management for web platforms and consumer-facing surfaces, ensuring pace, reliability and quality.

You will lead a globally distributed team from New York, partnering with product, design and editorial teams to translate reader experience goals into engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to build strong, trusted relationships with product, design and editorial partners.
• Track record of leading distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.
• Experience driving AI-native ways of working within a team, not just tolerating them.
• Proven experience leading teams building consumer-facing web at scale with delivery accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of the team’s roadmap translating business goals into a sequenced plan.
• Set technical direction in partnership with senior engineers and architects.
• Lead a globally distributed Web applications team and ensure delivery, quality, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product, design and editorial partners to align reader experience with engineering plans.
• Maintain high standards for platform health while balancing speed of delivery.
