Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare seeks an experienced IT leader to manage Virtual Services and MyChart, directing day-to-day operations and strategic planning in a hospital setting. You will oversee staffing, budgeting, implementation, and ongoing support across digital health platforms.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication across clinicians and IT teams, and a track record of improving service delivery in a complex healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS and eight (8) years’ experience or equivalent twelve (12) years of progressive information systems management experience or virtual services.
• Proven record of effective technical and application systems management in a complex, open architecture environment.
• Knowledge and experience in analysis of specific hospital needs to identify and implement solutions.
• Strong team building/leadership, analytical and problem-solving experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with administration, clinicians, IT personnel and clients.
• Ability to negotiate with customers to establish priorities.
• Familiarity with network concepts (Ethernet, TCP/IP, LANs, WANs).
• Experience with Epic and healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management and strategic planning of Virtual Services and MyChart.
• Manage personnel, budgeting, planning, implementation, and support of these functions.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities; analyze workflows and test alternatives.
• Prepare a weekly status report to the AVP detailing milestones, issues and schedules.
