Job summary

The Umbrella Center, Charlotte-Mecklenburg's Family Justice Center, seeks a Director to lead operations and ensure trauma-informed services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, elder abuse, and child abuse. The Director provides strategic leadership, oversees daily operations, and fosters collaboration among partner agencies to deliver client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Public Admin, Health, Law, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in social services with at least 5 years in management.
• Experience with nonprofit violence prevention or trauma survivor advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead trauma-informed service delivery across partner agencies.
• Oversee staff, volunteers, and interns; manage budgets and grants.
• Develop and evaluate programs; ensure compliance and reporting.
