Job summary

The Family Peace Center of Washington County seeks an exceptional Executive Director to lead the organization through its next growth phase, sustainability, and impact. The leader will strengthen the foundation, deepen community relationships, and align partners around survivor-centered care.

As chief executive and fundraiser, you will build systems, develop a strong team, and collaborate with a broad ecosystem of 20+ partners to advance a coordinated response for survivors of domestic violence,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; master's preferred.
• Progressive executive or senior leadership experience with people, programs, or complex initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor engagement, and revenue development.
• Grant writing/management experience and Board partnership are essential.
• Strong financial, operational, and organizational judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead as chief executive, fundraiser, and strategic partner to the Board.
• Develop and sustain long-term financial strategy and stability.
• Build and empower a strong team and operating infrastructure.
• Foster cross-sector collaboration with partner organizations and stakeholders.
• Represent the Center with community leaders, funders, and donors.
• Oversee governance, fundraising, and organizational accountability.
