Job summary

Merkle Inc. is seeking a Director of Value Consulting & Digital Transformation to quantify the business impact of strategic technology, AI, and digital investments. You will build financial models and value narratives to inform executive decisions and drive client outcomes.

You will lead development of business cases, ROI analyses, and value realization frameworks, working across FP&A, data analytics, and consulting teams. Remote work is possible for continental US, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; any major considered; preference for Business, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics.
• 7+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, strategy/consulting, business transformation, or digital transformation.
• 5+ years of experience creating financial models, analyzing data, and working with large datasets in Excel or similar tools.
• Experience developing business cases, ROI models, value assessments, or investment analyses supporting enterprise technology or transformation initiatives.
• Experience translating insights into recommendations and presentations; Proficiency in PowerPoint required.
• Comfortable operating in a matrixed organization with latitude.
• Able to operate in ambiguity where defining what to measure is part of the job.
• Nice to have: curiosity, ability to craft executive-friendly narratives, value realization functions, AI-enabled transformations.

Responsibilities

• Build measurement frameworks linking program adoption to outcomes for customers, employees, and business.
• Quantify the financial impact of delayed or unresolved initiatives, not just upside of new investments.
• Lead deliverables related to Business Value projection and transformation engagements.
• Plan and facilitate client discovery via interviews, reviews, surveys, and data analysis.
• Manage daily consulting delivery including meetings, workshops, and readouts.
• Support governance reporting with clear financial narratives and value tracking.
• Develop and deliver executive presentations; translate insights into value narratives for clients.
• Build comprehensive Excel models to quantify impact and ROI for proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with teams and partner agencies to ensure feasibility and alignment.
