Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a seasoned professional to coordinate value-based contracting activities for the Ministry, negotiating and operationalizing arrangements that may include risk sharing, gainshare, and pay-for-performance.

The role requires Bachelor's in health care or business, with five years in managed care contracting and strong coordination with physicians, administration, and other health care professionals. A Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care or business administration; master’s preferred.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in managed care contracting with emphasis on value-based contracting.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills involving physicians, administration, and other health care professionals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee value-based contracting activities for Mercy.
• Negotiate and operationalize value-based arrangements including risk, gainshare, pay for performance, etc.
• Ensure accurate and timely communications with stakeholders both within Mercy and external to Mercy.
