Job summary

Mercy in Arkansas seeks a Manager - Managed Care who will implement Mercy's managed care strategy and build relationships with health plans and other stakeholders. The role coordinates commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and other payer contracts to ensure alignment with Mercy's mission.

Remote position, but candidates must reside in Arkansas. A Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration or related field is required, with 3–5 years in managed care and contracting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Managed Care required.
• Contracting experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare finance or revenue cycle is a plus and may be trainable for the right candidate, even without a Managed Care or Provider Relations background.

Responsibilities

• Implements Mercy's managed care strategy and develops relationships with health plans and other stakeholders.
• Coordinates commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care and other payer contracts and payer relations activities.
• Ensures communication to internal and external constituents regarding programs, services and other relevant information.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy's mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
