Job summary

Feed the Children is seeking a Director of U.S. Programs to lead its U.S. Mission Impact portfolio in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan.

The role emphasizes designing implementation guidelines, overseeing program delivery, monitoring impact, and securing funding while promoting engagement with external partners. The position supports hybrid work in Oklahoma City or remote options within the U.S., with preferred locations including Oklahoma City and several major cities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related professional work experience, ideally in child hunger or human services program creation, development and implementation.
• 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in developing teams and working with external organizations.
• 2+ years of experience with child safeguarding policies, procedures and practices.
• Knowledge of program development, resource allocation, monitoring and evaluation.
• Understanding of nonprofit organizational structures and operating principles.
• Combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of U.S. programming with community partners to ensure vision and impact.
• Develop budgets and assist in securing private and public funding for program implementation.
• Develop partner program agreements and provide technical assistance to implementers.
• Monitor program progress, ensure compliance and promote program impact with stakeholders.
• Supervise staff per policies and foster high performance and collaboration.
