Job summary

Feed the Children seeks an Internal Audit, Senior Director to design, implement, and lead global internal audit functions. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will strengthen governance, risk management, internal controls, and donor compliance across our global operations.

The ideal candidate will work from the Oklahoma City corporate office, with consideration for qualified remote candidates in the DMV area. Salary ranges from $155K to $170K, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years in internal audit; 4+ years leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit plan aligned with strategic objectives and global operations.
• Lead outsourced/co-sourced internal audit vendors, including scoping and quality reviews.
• Maintain alignment with IIA Standards, internal controls, and donor compliance requirements.
• Provide clear reporting to the Board and Audit & Risk Committee; advise on remediation and controls.
