Job summary

Feeding America in the United States is seeking a Director, Member Engagement to manage a portfolio of Partner and Affiliate Food Banks. You will align their activities with network standards, oversee risk mitigation, and collaborate with senior leaders across the national organization.

This role requires 10+ years in supply chain or nonprofit management, strong data analysis, and the ability to build durable relationships with executives and board members.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, nonprofit management, business, consulting or related fields.
• Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and derive organizational insights.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in business management and organizational effectiveness.
• Ability to navigate conflicts, manage respectful communication and identify solutions.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Leads education, interpretation, and implementation of Partner Food Bank Agreements, Affiliate Food Bank Agreement and Network Charter with Network Members and the Feeding America National Organization.
• Leads strategic adoption of changes in Network Standards, Network Agreements, and related requirements that affect the Network.
• Leads Network Standards Reviews with Partner Food Banks, assesses adherence to the Partner Food Bank Agreement and directs corrective action to mitigate enterprise risk.
• Ensures and supports Partner Food Banks in conducting and completing Network Standards Reviews with Affiliate Food Banks in their portfolios.
• Develops enduring relationships with executive leaders and organizations to identify member needs and create action plans.
