Job summary

Operation Blessing (OB) seeks an experienced Director to lead the U.S. Hunger Relief programs, guiding strategy and scalable initiatives through trusted church and community partnerships.

You will oversee program development, partnerships, and evaluation, ensuring the work aligns with OB’s mission and priorities and achieves measurable impact. • Proven senior-level leadership in humanitarian/nonprofit sectors.
• Ability to translate mission into scalable programs and strategies.
• Experience leading program innovation, transformation, redesign, or continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of hunger, food insecurity, and impacts on children and families.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships with churches and community orgs.
• Experience building and leading effective teams with accountability.
• Strong budget, resource, and outcome management.
• Data and evaluation informed decision making for program effectiveness.
• Collaboration across ministries to integrate resources.
• Knowledge of operational requirements for hunger-relief programs (logistics, sourcing, inventory).
• Excellent project management and communication skills; able to engage senior leadership and partners.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Demonstrated alignment with Biblical principles in line with OB’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of OB's Hunger Relief strategy and programs.
• Translate strategy into scalable, impact-focused initiatives in partnership with leadership and ministries.
• Oversee partnerships with churches and community organizations to extend reach and impact.
• Ensure programs are financially sound, efficiently run, and able to scale with demand.
