UNLV is seeking an Assistant Director of Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction to lead campus-wide learning support services, including in-person and virtual tutoring, embedded tutoring, and Supplemental Instruction. The role emphasizes data-informed decision-making, program assessment, and collaboration with faculty and campus partners to advance student success.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Learning Services, this position guides strategic and operational directions,

Qualifications

• Master’s from an accredited college or university as recognized by US DoE/CHEA.
• At least three (3) years of documented higher education experiences in a relevant area.
• 1-3 years of managing temporary and/or full-time employees.
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Managing the daily operations of learning support programs serving a diverse undergraduate population.
• Supervising a team that includes a full-time coordinator, graduate assistants, and student employees.
• Staff recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and timekeeping.
• Monitor student employee hours and alignment with the budget.
• Leading assessment efforts: data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
