Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is seeking a Director of Transportation & Supply Chain Engineering in Pittsburgh to lead the transportation function and supply chain optimization.

You will set strategic direction, manage budgets, and drive carrier sourcing, governance, and performance improvements across the network. The role requires a BA/BS in logistics or business, 10+ years of related experience, and 5+ years in management.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in logistics or business required.
• Minimum 10+ years of related experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of management experience.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience required.
• Experience in transportation operations and pricing (truckload, LTL, rail, inter-modal, ocean).
• Experience contracting and procurement for large-scale network (>$100M, >100 carriers).
• Experience managing an outsourced logistics provider.
• CPG experience preferred.
• Strong presentation skills required.

• Lead transportation procurement, carrier management, and pricing.
• Oversee capacity planning, budgeting, and analytics for the function.
• Develop and implement carrier scorecards and governance.
