Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. in Philadelphia is seeking a Transportation Associate to coordinate truck driver activities, dispatch routes, and support onboarding of new drivers.

The role emphasizes safety, DOT knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules, monitor delivery performance, and work with internal teams to keep products moving efficiently.

This is a full-time position requiring 40+ hours weekly, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 3–6 years in transportation and 3rd party dispatch experience.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and ability to supervise staffing, recruiting and mentoring CDL Drivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
• Dispatch delivery routes and make changes as required.
• Assist onboarding of new drivers and payroll record keeping.
• Coordinate driver schedules to ensure on-time delivery and track dispatcher performance.
• Communicate daily with drivers, customers, shippers and management.
• Coordinate with 3rd party carriers on loads tendered and manage related costs.
